Professional skateboarder, creative director for DCV’87 & cultural innovator

Lucien Clarke is a Jamaican-born, London-raised professional skateboarder whose influence extends far beyond the skate community. Known for his distinctive style and authentic voice, Lucien has become one of the most respected figures in contemporary skateboarding and street culture.

He is a long-standing member of Palace Skateboards, where he has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s global identity through his skating, creative direction, and cultural presence. Lucien has appeared in numerous Palace videos and international campaigns, solidifying his reputation as one of the most recognisable British skateboarders of his generation.

In 2020, Lucien made history as the first professional skateboarder to collaborate with Louis Vuitton, designing his own pro skate shoe under the direction of Virgil Abloh. The collaboration bridged luxury fashion and skateboarding in an unprecedented way, marking a cultural milestone that earned worldwide recognition.

Beyond skateboarding, Lucien has collaborated with leading brands across fashion, music, and lifestyle, while continuing to push boundaries as both an athlete and cultural figure. His work represents the intersection of creativity, authenticity, and style—cementing his place as a trailblazer at the forefront of global youth culture.
