Self taught musician and songwriter Milkie Way was born and raised in rural Ireland before making the move to London to study fashion. After soon realising that traditional educational systems and authority figures were not her cup of tea she dropped out and founded a two piece rock band called Wargasm with London DIY veteran Sam Matlock.
With a low slung bass guitar, a blistering stage presence, and her signature bullet belt, Milkie confidently walks the line between punk and old school glamour. As a purveyor of all things old and beautiful Milkie’s personal love for vintage fashion, films, and guitars seeps into the visual identity of Wargasm.
Since their conception in 2019 Wargasm have paraded their unique blend of metal and electronic around the world to iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden (NYC), Wembley Arena (London), and Makuhari Messe (Tokyo). No stranger to the press, Wargasm have donned the cover of magazines such as Kerrang! (X2), Alternative Press, and Rock Sound whilst also being featured in NME, PAPER, Revolver, and Metal Hammer.
Milkie has also modelled for brands such as Maison Margiela for Show Studio, Rankin, Versace Jeans Couture, and Valentino.
